Here are the spellings for your child for this term. This gives you an overview of the spellings they will be asked to learn and gives you guidance on the spelling rules and patterns which children are being made aware of. VCOP and Punctuation Pyramid

As part of our strategy to improve standards in writing throughout the school, we feel that
children are able to learn writing skills by concentrating on 4 main areas.
Collectively the four areas are known to the children as VCOP (vocabulary, connectives, openers and punctuation). Need more information?
