Our School

We are very proud of our school, of the children who learn here and the people who work here. We are fortunate in our facilities. We have twelve classrooms, a hall, a well equipped ICT suite, a library and a learning support room. We also have two courtyards, two playgrounds, a nature reserve, an allotment area and a field. Our outside environment is an important learning resource as well as where we play sports against other schools. We compete in a number of sports in a variety of competitions and we also have a strong and successful choir. We believe in providing any opportunities for the children to achieve and also see the wider world as a place to learn.

We encourage children to work co-operatively with one another as well as being part of a team, as we feel this helps children in their future lives. Basic skills are a priority too. We provide good support for pupils and we are committed to inclusion. Intervention and support strategies are put into place when necessary and parents are informed of any special provision we feel necessary.

Our children have high self esteem, behaviour is good, and we feel it is important to be polite, respectful of others and tolerant of differences. All of our children are proud of their school and take responsibility seriously. They feel safe and well cared for in an environment where their excellent work and achievements are valued and celebrated.

Our credit system highlights the principal attributes the children are striving to reach in all that they do:-
