One of the Chickens is lost!

Wednesday, April 29th, 2009

At the weekend one of our  chickens, Ruby, went missing. We think people were in our nature area at night, as we found empty wine bottles and beer cans.  It seems that people let her out of the run, as no feathers were found. The other chickens are trying to cope with the loss of their friend.

We are making the security better so that we can avoid it happening again.

New Allotment Sign

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Michael, Mr Mezo and Mr Hill  have been working very hard and have come up with a new idea that will stop children running onto the allotment.  Michael has decided to put up a sign telling people they are to stay on the playground to protect all the flowers. He helped paint the sign and dug the hole in which the sign is now placed. Michael really enjoyed working on the sign and has worked really hard to keep the allotment looking beautiful.
