Summer Holidays

Friday, July 30th, 2010

We’ve had another busy school year which finished with a very successful One World Event  and our SATs results for our present Year 6’s are some of the best results we have had and this is due not only to the tremendous efforts put in by the children themselves but also to the hard work and dedication put in by all the staff.
Have a good holiday, stay safe and we’ll see you on Tuesday 7th September at 8.55.

Hector The Dolphin

Friday, July 2nd, 2010

As part of our recent E Safety awareness lessons we’ve introduced Hector the Dolphin to our computers. He is a dolphin that swims alongside you (in a corner of your computer screen) as you surf the Internet,  if you are upset or worried about an image that comes up on the screen, you simply click on Hector.  He immediately covers the screen with a beautiful underwater scene, whilst you go and get an adult for help.

Hector the dolphin can be downloaded from either the school web site on the E Safety page of the learning zone or ‘think u know’ website here.
