Class 5

Thursday, June 20th, 2013

This week class 5 have all been working hard to complete their assessments. The assessments were really hard but everyone tried their best and did fantastic! Miss Harris was really pleased with everyone.

Year 4 have started Jump Rope; an activity to raise awareness of keeping fit and staying healthy. The British Heart Foundation kindly donated our school lots of skipping ropes, so we could get practicing. We have been learning to skip, as well as skipping to a routine, which is very hard. Hopefully with lots of practice we will become really good!

On Wednesday afternoon we went out side to skip. First we all got quickly changed into our P.E. kits and rushed outside. Then we split into 2 groups, one group learnt to skip, whilst the other group practiced moving to a routine. At the end we were all very tired and needed to drink lots of water! The next day all of the teachers came into school with aching bodies. We all thought this was very funny!

Last week some children from y5 and y6 went to a golf activity and had a brilliant time! We played games against other schools but unfortunately didn’t win . We congratulated Dale Primary for winning. We all hope we can do it all again soon.
