Class 3

Tuesday, October 22nd, 2013

We have been in the Juniors 5 weeks now and we are having a great time!

We have done lots of interesting learning about The Romans such as writing reports and making our own creative mosaics.

Science was fun when we made rice crispy cakes to show the difference between solids, liquids and gasses. We got to eat them afterwards, they were delicious!

We are so lucky in year 3 we get to go swimming every week! We have to do things like swimming on our backs and floating on top of the water.

Everyone in the class loves Accelerated Reading, we are trying to get to the top of the ladder and win a medal!

So far this term we’ve been up to lots of things such as Rammie, the Derby County mascot, came into our assembly to introduce himself. In class we have been learning about the Blitz and World War 2, and we had to make a super duper poster.

We have had Pro Kick Challenge in school, with a professional footballer called Lee Canoville (ex Forest and Arsenal), the people who won in our class was Jack, with a whopping 43.1mph, and Tegan, with a score of 38.4mph!
