Having always had an interest in primary education I was keen to become a governor and support a school in which education is always at the heart of every decision. I am a firm believer that the best education happens when children feel safe and can have fun while learning, so strive to support Oakwood to be both a home from home and achieve excellence in education. Outside of being a governor I am a mum of two and work in membership development, both of which have taught me many valuable skills beneficial to this role.
