Guinness World Record
On Thursday 3rd October, we took part in a Guinness World Record attempt for National Poetry Day 2024. We were involved in the largest poetry lesson in the world, where over 60,000 children would be taking part. Firstly, we had to officially be counted into the hall and Mrs Fray had to watch to make sure the teachers were counting correctly!
Then we all sat and watched the lesson and we had to vote on parts of the poem we liked. We chose for the animal to be an axolotl and we wanted it to be called Ron! But, in the end, the majority of schools voted for Bob, which was our second choice so we didn't mind.
Stay tuned for the finished version of the poem, which is soon to be published! We will also receive our very own World Record Breakers certificate!
