The tournament was in collaboration with Monster Kickabout which is led by Nike and Sports Direct and endorsed by athletes such as John Stones and Lucy Bronze. The aim was to get as many people, no matter who they are or where they are from involved in sport through the love of football.

Throughout the week, the school took part in lots of activities football related across the curriculum and it all led up to the big tournament on Thursday after-school. This tournament allowed anyone to play, no matter gender or age within the school and led to over 110 children playing. To maximise our efforts to support all we decided to support a charity in this tournament, this being Derby County Community Trust and their efforts in helping people in the community and around the world. We had a cake sale before to support this and overall we raised over £850!
